  1. WOW! I have never done this but it seems to me that if you have any leaks spraying all that high-pressure water will certainly find it's way down-under your roof through those leaks. This is exactly what you are trying to prevent. Then you will seal that water in, tell me I am wrong… if I am.

  2. Our neighbor told us about this product. Her husband used it and then we purchased it. Have to say did everything their website said it would do. We even got a amex gift card for sending in some pictures of my husband doing the installation. I think they still offer that their site is liquidroof.com

  3. Hey guys wanted to circle back and thank you for the advise. the motor home turned out great i did watch this movie and a bunch directly on the liquidroof.com site. Great sales staff there were very patient with me and I called numerous times into Greg and Jim sorry guys i forgot to take pictures but I did tell my neighbor 🙂 they will be buying

  4. One suggestion just buy directly at epdmcoatings.com or ask your RV store to order for your. Just stay away from amazon we ordered there and when we received it the can was dented it looked like it was a returned product. We called the company and they told us we could not get an exchange. So out $297 went and ordered online at epdmcoatings…..Lesson learned thought i could get it cheaper …..but I wish it was easier to roll great product fixed our leaks Cheers !

  5. wow just a mere 6 years old and the white is gone, thank God they went to bilam rubber the black will last 15 years or more under the new coating. Fix all pin holes. thats 038 -039 rubber

  6. Just wanted to thank you guys epdmcoatings went above and beyond to be sure that my son's present was here before Christmas. Very knowledgeable staff and patient with seniors 🙂 I will spread the word at our park about you guys. Our neighbor bought this last summer and he loved the results. Merry Christmas

  7. That is what many of the RV repair shops use. The caution should be from our understanding in speaking with them is at the seam areas where water can get under. Thank you

  8. If you want a rubberized coating to truly bond to an EPDM rubber roofing system ,where it cannot ever be power washed off ,or crack & peel ,then you use an EPDM primer available at all roofing supply houses, I use Firestone EPDM primer applied with a scotch brite scouring pad on a stick ,then after the primer dries 24 hours I apply 2 coats of rubberized coating and it will last a decade before needing a fresh coat ,if you prime your 1st coat to the rubber you won't need to use a primer to recoat 5 to 10 yrs down the line ,the absolute best white coating is made by the Garland roofing materials and it's called White Knight, it costs roughly $350 for a 5 gallon pail ,I have Garland White Knight on the roof over the den on my home and it's been 17 years since I applied it over a worn out fully adhered Goodyear EPDM rubber roofing system.

  9. You will be sorry that you didn't patch those pin holes in your roof. Even a pin hole will give you a lot of trouble after awhile. If you see a hole of any size in your roof membrane fix t now so you won't have a leak later on.

  10. Will this product work over roofs which have had a petrolium based product applied on it? I believe the current roof on our camper has an asphalt based coating (dries looking silver) similar to what is used on commercials roofs. The trailer never moves and has sat in the same spot since 1981 so I'm not really worried about flexibility from driving down the road.

  11. I have a 6 year old conversion van with a high top fiberglass top. It needs some kind of protection. Do you see any problems with that? How has yours held up?

  12. Man, I am almost ready to go on my old motorhome but all I have is a water hose with a regular sprayer to remove that Dicor cleaner-activator. I can't get hold of a pressure washer.

  13. Yes EPDM is just that great! I did my research. Avoid the petrolium products and go with EPDM RUBBER. Simple to apply – just like the video says. Best if you can apply under a roof/garage to avoid dust/dirt while drying. Cures over night and will bubble, but this is to be expected. All the bubbles are gone in a couple days and it looks 100% great.

  14. This is the third time our company us using this. Best product in the RV industry hands down. We have tried all the other products particularly the elastomeric based products nothing compares to this. They also have some great videos and pictures on their site but what we like about it is the fact it actually looks like someone put a big piece of sheet epdm rubber when it dries. Greg and Lou were very helpful over the past year with our questions

  15. A rubber roof is like your skin, it just needs some lotion (EPDM rubber Roof Coating) every couple of years along with a generous amount of Lap Seal along any joint on the roof. NEVER NEVER use a pressure washer on a rubber roof, ESPECIALLY if its an older roof. Think about it. That "white stuff" is actually a layer of the membrane and was added by the factory for a reason. 1/4 bleach and 3/4 water in a pump up sprayer cleans the roof well enough to apply the Rubber Coating which is made to extend the life of your current roof.

  16. Always, always, always inspect your roof every 6 months! Do inspect it every time you take it out camping and limbs have come into contact with anything mounted to the roof. Those little limbs that rub all the way down the side backing in and pulling out may cause a tiny pin hole(s) just large enough to let moisture and water in. Do check that roof, you will be glad you did if you spot that pin hole you would have never seen until it's too late! I use EPDM Cool Coat on mine and yes it looks great.

  17. I have a 2000 Southwind Storm. Do you think it may have an Alpha roof and require ProFlex primer? Typically how long will the original roof last?

  18. how wet was the inside of the coach after the pressure washing? from what I've been told, is that if you can see the black, then your roof is already leaking inside. I'm getting ready to do either the same repair/maintenance or just go with a spray on bedliner type of material once i gather all the pro's and con's.

  19. Thank you glad to hear everything worked out for your.  It really is a true do-it-yourself product.  You are good for 14-15 years before you need to worry about you rv roof!

  20. Used the same product on a metal rood. Cleaned the roof patched large holes, did not patch small 1/8" howls. Removed all objects from roof. Applied product much like in video. Great results.
