  1. Thanks for watching everyone! Sorry I've been gone. There are more videos to come soon, leave a comment below what you'd like to see. Remember to like and share to help me get my channel back up and running!

  2. If you were near a body of water, river, etc…it could be an osprey or eagle. Osprey make that sort of chirping sound as well as something that sounds like a dog's bark. We have ospreys and eagles here in Oregon, too. Love them…except when they catch my fish and laugh at me while flying away with it…lol!

  3. Why not go with a canvas tarp? A lot stronger, will last longer and will resist sparks from your fire. I know it will be heavier to pack in, but you won't have to replace it each year. Just curious…

  5. great upload.
i always enjoy your quiet videos.
btw i noticed your lake louise t shirt…….. reminded me of my 1st trip to canada 20 years ago . . .

  6. Good to see you back! Remove and replace can be more difficult, and time consuming than the original build, great to see you taking responsibility for what you built and maintain it! One good thing about re-and-re is it's a great opportunity to see what worked, what lasted, and what didn't in order to make corrections, upgrades and improvements. Really looking forward to what you do next!

  7. Hi, there. I'm a new fan. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your unique approach to vlogging your adventures. Most people would talk constantly or have voice overs. Which is fine… But this… This is just pure enjoyment. It's quiet how nature is supposed to be.

  8. Maintaning can be harder than the building of it but you have done an awesome job. The color of the new tarps are way better than the blue ones. Thanks for taking us along not sure what that chirp was.

  9. You should have alternated the new vertical reinforcing branches, under and over the horizontal ones. That way the force on the mount would be less, and it would bend less.

  10. Shelter's looking good after its spring cleaning and repair. The bark walls have held up well. Have you considered heavy duty tarp tape that's UV resistant? This way, you can rotate tarp sets, one set at home to repair and the second set on the shelter.

Might be a cougar cub chirping since it's too high pitched for an adult. Did it sound like some of the sounds from these cubs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-ZuqqPt57I
