  1. I am a person who usually does not like black and white schemes. However, this apartment is so exquisite that I forgot my prejudice. I especially liked the entry hall and that lovely kitchen. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I'm a New Yorker and I happen to live in something that size–that is not small. So many NY are forced to live in 300 sqft I am very fortunate. He's a bit delusional and needs to know what the real world lives in.

  3. This apartment is lovely. I always wanted to be a designer, and I think this gentleman outdid himself. I will have to remember the black lacquer walls and white trim in the foyer. Stunning.

  4. i am in love with the interior. i want this guy to design my home. one of the most beautiful designed homes i've seen on youtube.

  5. I think that the definition of a small house depends on where you live and what you are used to. Where I live, a 2,700 square foot house and larger is the "norm" even for a small family. That's just how the houses are built. And when I was looking to buy a house I wanted something smaller, but it was difficult to find in the township I wanted to live in. I eventually found a 1,400 square foot house and everyone here considers my house to be tiny. Even my Realtor thought that I was crazy buying such a "tiny" house. That's just what the norm is here.

  6. In what universe is 1400 sq. ft. small?! We live in 800 sq. ft. (also in the Ottawa area) and I find it too big…

Maybe if you have a large family?

  7. Beautiful! I agree with your thoughts on city living. I, too, have owned several homes over the years and now find myself in an apartment in the city. There's nothing like it.
