  1. Gary: Just want to thank you for such a clear video!  I'm about to repair a leak in my roof, and could not figure out how to replace 3-tab shingles in the section needing repairs.  Your video makes it very simple and easy to understand.  Again, thank you for sharing your expertise.

  2. Thank you for your clear explanation and demonstration. This was exactly what I needed to see to make sure that I wasn't missing a key step. Your explanation of how to remove the old shingles, as well as where and how many nails to apply to the new shingles helped me do my repairs with confidence.

  3. Thanks for the instruction. I need to take a single shingle out for warranty claim. The roofing company which installed my home shingles charge me $ 250 for removing a single shingle. Now I will do it myself. Your instructions help tremendously. Thanks again.

  4. This video is very helpful, and I really appreciate you taking the time to share this information. It helps homeowners like me make our own repairs when we're short on funds. Thank you!

  5. What is the best shingle cement or adhesive to use if you need to stick them down or seal the nail heads? We get a lot of wind that makes the tabs blow up. Thank you ever so much!

  6. Thank you my friends family have gotten use to a leak it's strange how people can get use to crappy situations anyway I hope I can fix it and this video is a no nonsense practical shingle job thanks again

  7. I'm not sure why there are any down votes here. I used this video to replace several shingles after a large oak tree branch went through the roof and it looks great. This video gives you everything you need to know without a bunch of nonsense.

  8. What was the point of taking out shingles only to put them back? Also, you don't bother to mention that once the shingles have been disturbed, they must be resealed with an appropriate sealant. If you don't, they will blow off the house.

  9. A good wind came through today and has me worried I might have a loose or lost shingle. I'm going up on the roof this weekend to double check. Thanks for this how to video. I need be I feel like I can fix it after watching this video.
