  1. There are a lot of different ways to install this pipe flashing. This is not the only way. But this was the best way I thought to replace that old rusted out pipe flashing , which was nailed in .
    Pipe flashings are typically nailed in with galvanized EG nails. or copper nails if pipe flashing were copper.
    How do you install your pipe flashings ? If you did not nail in your pipe and vent flashing they would blow off in the wind, and cause a leak.
    The flashing needs to be nailed in with galvanized nails.
    the length of the nail would depend if there was an open beam ceiling or not.
    This roof has not leak since we repaired this pipe flashing over 2 years ago.

  2. No de-granulating … Nails on torch on? What happens if they back out from the expansion/ contraction of the building… Stop posting how to vids .. There is most likely people watching these who want to know the proper way to do a repair.

    It definitely helps cut down on the time it takes to watch video and to upload video.
