  2. I lived n a prewar building n the Bronx, NY & had 9.5ft ceilings. I ordered some custom dupioni silk 120" drapes along with some custom cherry wood blinds. It was a stand out. I totally c what ur talking about with the placement of curtains/drapes. I like ur violation tickets. πŸ˜€πŸ€£πŸ˜πŸ™‚πŸ˜†πŸ˜Ž
A quick solution 4 people who don't know how 2 balance, get a wall mirror and build around the space. Measure empty spaces & find pictures & mirrors that complement & balance out those spaces. All empty space doesn't require pictures or mirrors either. Some people go 2 far & complete clutter. That should b a violation. LOL 😜
I love ur videos. I subscribed. Ur serious when need b & have such a gr8 sense of humor. 😍

  3. My sofa is against the wall because it has a high back. The question is can I put a high back sofa in the middle of a room or in front of a picture window?

  4. This doesn't pertain to me, so I almost wasn't going to say, but it's too important. When a landlord says no painting and a contract was signed in the rental agreement with that contingency, it could raise serious problems. If a nosy, mean neighbor reports it or property manager catches eye of it, could mean breach of contract or the more likely,as you said, forfeiture of security deposit. It also could also ruin a claim you may have in the future if mold is in the insulation or seeps through structure from other units. A bigger concern is sanding wall where existing lead paint was EVER USED. Better to avoid lead being released at all costs. I've seen a video where the solution was painting or decorating any way one chooses these temporary wall covers 36×36 size boards (i'm guessing but something like that) anyway I'm design challenged and you are awesome so my 2cents ends here. I've lived in older places and my son, now 9 and doing well was diagnosed with autism right before he was 3. I immediately got involved in as many early intervention therapies as we could and over time he has gone from Severe/moderate to mild ASD, I'll always wonder what exactly caused this and lead paint is up there on my list. Grateful and blessed he is recovering.
